Hi,
This site is starting to come together. I (with James’ and another website’s help) managed to squish the bug that was making it impossible to have this theme up for more than a few days at a time. It was strange, something about having two iterations of the same website. Anyways, thats all done with so the theme won’t revert again (I hope.)
I’m spending most of my time with this site organizing the content, so please be patient with me. I put in several hours earlier this week adding tags to every post I had written ( thats a lot of posts!) Now I am going to be organizing the content into the pages you can access above. I also setup the ezine, so please take a moment to subscribe to that (for a really nice treat too.)
I want to embark on getting this site and you, the reader, on a journey towards becoming computer literate. We are in for quite a ride together. I want to show you that it is possible to like using computers (no, really, I’m not joking ~_^.)
So thats the news of the hour. Enjoy the site as I spend some time reorganizing and then off we go on content galore.
God Bless,
-Daniel Kolansky

So today is the first day that TechMindset FINALLY has its own theme! I am so excited about it I am about to cry.
James from Vantage Street designed this theme from scratch. And boy does it look nice. I am going to be spending the next couple of hours organizing the content on this site into the icons above at the top of this post. I encourage you to take a look around and report anything that might be out of whack. Continue reading →

If you have been following my site you’ll notice that for some time now I have been constantly switching between two themes. A white one with a blog header and a darker one with cyan flowers at the top.
I was only supposed to have one theme running. Continue reading →

Multi-Tasking
I have noted a lot of people commenting on how I can move so quickly on a computer. Even now I am setting my wife up with accounting software while also writing this post while beginning to format a drive so I can use it at a computer appointment in an hour. I know you are waiting for the secret tip. The very core of what makes me good at multi-tasking on the computer.
The trick is as simple as this: practice. I have done most of these things enough times to be able to do them in my sleep. Continue reading →

Welcome to Tech Mindset.
There is a lot of information available for consumption on the internet, but I am surprised that there is not a whole lot of information geared towards new-comers to the technology world. I understand that some of this is due to the fact that A.) people don’t believe there are that many newcomers to the internet and B.) people aren’t entirely certain that newcomers will find a blog about being new to technology on the internet.
